Your Passion: New Video Blog

Episode 1: The not so phantom menace of my mother.

I promise it has some stuff about improving your website and business as well. At least like 5 seconds I’m sure.

Anyway, I thought a video blog could be a fun idea. Nothing too fancy, just a nice casual attempt to teach and entertain you. Hope you like it. You can show love in the comments. You can also show hate if you prefer.

However, villagers with pitchforks will not be tolerated!

    Hey-

So I just watched your video on ‘Passion’ & another one (both versions - one with music and one with your voice dubbing). Huge improvement from your first video. Your personality is really coming out. It is great. I am so proud of you. I really like the music version with the Power Point presentation but was thinking that maybe adding in some of the juicy detail information from the 10 minute voiced-over version (maybe in the form of pop-out blurbs) might pull everything together, as some of the bullet points on their own don’t explicitly offer beneficial information that one can elaborate on. I think that might nicely tie in the take home message provided in your voiced-over version to the concepts you outline, thus allowing people to further process and comprehend the message you are trying to get across.

Clever to advertise that you are unavailable until after 2008. Dean’s approach nicely fits here.

Can’t wait to see more. Still catching up on all the articles, which are getting better and better every time.

I wish you continued success -
    Sloane

    Hey Sloane,

Thanks for the feedback on the videos. The ones with and without the voice over are really old. When I do new ones I hope they’ll be a better mix. Plus the original voice over one was very long!

I’m not sure what you mean by it’s ‘Clever to advertise that you are unavailable until after 2008.’ It’s just the truth. One client has me on contract until early 2010 and unless something unforeseen happens I won’t be looking for more private clients. I guess the point of me advertising it was to show I wasn’t desperate for my next payday and really want to provide quality information to people who sign up with me.

Glad you like the articles. I’ve got some plans in my head for the next few months that members should enjoy and learn from. All I need is time to execute them!

    Thanks for stopping by,
    Craig
